TehVid

Alyssa Teh is a 22-year old aspiring filmmaker with interests in DP-ing, editing, and directing. While she’s based in Minneapolis, she’s had the chance to study film in Los Angeles for a semester. That experience prompted her to write and direct her first short film last year. This past February, she got the chance to screen her film at a local film festival. Although the film industry can be scary and unpredictable, Alyssa is reminded of the words of Ben Enke, a fellow Minneapolis cinematographer, "Pain is temporary. Film is forever.” Her mindset is, “keep making things, and never stop no matter who tells you to!”

Katie Pope

I graduated from Bethel University in 2018 with a degree in media production and am now working full-time as a videographer in the Twin Cities. I primarily produce non-profit and brand promo videos. I also work regularly as an editor for a production company called Uptop Films, where we create short films, mini documentaries, and commercial work. The local filmmaking community is incredibly kind and supportive, and my favorite aspect of my job is capturing stories of people who are actively improving their communities and helping others.
